Yup, it's pretty easy to hate america right now because were trying to bring democracy and freedom to an oppressed people in an unpopular war, I can actually understand that somewhat.
Ohh please.... Yeah, I used to buy into all of that 'Extending freedom' and 'Democarcy' crap that the conservatives and Bush pushed and duped on me and many other unsuspecting but concerned Americans. I ask you to tell me where are the WMDs? Where are they?! They never existed, the Bush administation grossly exaggerated the assumption that Saddam had WMDs. And also, I want to see a proof of a connection between Saddams government and networks such as Al-Qaeda. Even Bush has admitted that there wasent connection between Iraq and the terrorists involved in 911. And then... WHERE IS OSAMA? Why hasent our governemt brought him to justice? Why is he still on the loose? I want Osama in front of a US court. I fail to understand how so many Americans forgot about him as soon as Bush starting screaming and pointing 'Iraq!, Bad!'.
But I'll also understand it when you change your tune after your country gets invaded by another Hitler or Stalin and we send millions of our soldiers to die in your defense, but we'll only do it if you promise to forget about the sacrifice we made and start hating us again after a couple decades.
This is quote is utterly ridiculous. Wake up man, we dont live in the 1930's! Sure there are still a lot of bad people in the world, but in reality the world has actually evolved quite a bit. Europe was very gratefull to the US after WWII, but can you not realize why the world has gradually begun to respect us less and less?
Please, lets not bring up this history bull about who saved who's asses in what godforsaken war. Ironically, without France our country could never have even been founded without there assitance. So who owes who? I for one am very gratefull to France, and so was the rest of this country, just look outside New York City to the statue of liberty and remeber were it came from.
