If you want crazy:

This is a worthy pianist.  Doctoral student at Juilliard, currently on leave, I believe, to tour the world.  Among his accomplishments are an incredible Scriabin disk, a Hammerklavier that surpasses every recording I've ever heard, and a Barber sonata which is just out of this world.

I particularly like his control- he can work with the most awkward passages imaginable (Barber, Beethoven, Mendelssohn sonatas) and produce without flaw.
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

Actually, it's live from the 2004 Van Cliburn.  Not studio, which makes it even more impressive.

He's a mormon, though, so he wouldn't like you swearing.

Take Your Seat! Trifonov Plays Brahms in Berlin

“He has everything and more – tenderness and also the demonic element. I never heard anything like that,” as Martha Argerich once said of Daniil Trifonov. To celebrate the end of the year, the star pianist performs Johannes Brahms’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko on December 31. Piano Street’s members are invited to watch the livestream. Read more
