yeah, i've been watching it on the computer. It's about an hour away from me so i will probably go and watch a couple of them live. i didn't like that polish girl julia as much as the others. she plays too fast i think, especially in the 4th ballade. The asians are dominating.

so i just came back from minneapolis watching it, it was very good. maybe i was in the audience on the live streaming. frank from germany played an amazing mephisto waltz.  I've been inspired to practice. After the competition i just felt like i needed to play piano so i went to schmidt music store on the way home and played for some of the employees. Then i felt bad because i felt like i was playing sloppy. sigh.
