Possible to tag recordings with posters name?

I've downloaded a few and then I end up wondering who played that later on. 

Would it be possible to put the poster's name in the recording's information automatically somehow? 

I can do it myself when I download the file but I don't always remember to.

You mean in the information that appears on the bottom left of the
Windows mediaplayer?

Wherever it could be displayed.  If you right click on the file, there's a spot for info there too.  Maybe it's the same place.
