i'm just curious - how did the one student fall over and fall so severely to split her chin?
She is a little girl only about 8 years old. She was playing outside with her sisters when she was called inside for a lesson, she came running, tripped and fell, her chin clipping the side of an outside stone chair.
The broken arm happened because of slippery feet, she was wearing socks and the ground is nice and polished wood. If you rush down the stairs that risk increases. It was pretty hilarious when you think about what it looked like but her pain immediately made me feel shocked.
The girl with the braces suddenly said, I think I swallowed some metal. It was first stuck in her throat, then her mum tried to get her to throw it up, but it wouldn't come out. So she said we have to go hospital and get them to take it out, my student was so afraid she actually swallowed it down further into her stomach! I actually had a cousin who did the same thing a long time ago and she didn't go hospital, it passed straight through her, but they where afraid it might do some damage to her intestines. I guess its always better to be safe and get it checked.
I've had quite a start to the week! I think this chaos started following me on Friday

With one of my students her 2 yr old son always wants her attention if he is there during the lesson (usually he is at a daycare). In our last lesson he was at home, and this time got his mum attention by walking into the room with no pants on, turning around and saying "Muuum I've pooed myself". He pointed to the bit of that was stuck to his backside, and then it fell to the ground! I burst out in laugher, his mum did so too, but I think she was laughing more embarrassed, but she started finding it funny when she saw my reaction

She took her little son to the bathroom to clean him up, and his older brother (who I give lessons to as well) walked in and said, whats going on? He stepped right onto ... yes. you can guess it. That just topped it off

so sorry to hear of so many students down at once. this sounds like a bowling alley. maybe you should just knock down the rest and get a strike out of it.
Yeah I was like, yay 3 down 20 odd to go.
Crazy guess, but it might be that you're too handsome. Sometimes I'd be absent-minded and bump into stuff too when my teacher is there.
haha, well I hope that little girls don't think like that of me

I think its because they get excited that they have having a lesson. Certainly the girl falling down the stairs and the one against the chair where rushing to come to their lessons. Maybe I should start making them hate lessons a bit more, just for their own safety.

I think I'll take up RC and disarrays advice too
Kind of reminds me of a concert I was playing at when the curtain rod fell off and flattened the piano I was using, the building's condemned now though
That is scary. I'd be saying, Throw fruit and vegetables if you don't like my playing please!
