I'm Going Into the Piano Tuning Biz
on: August 27, 2008, 12:19:05 AM
Greetings Everyone:

I'm a professional keyboardist that is continuing my career by becoming a piano tuner.  I worked as a record producer for MC Hammer (I know :P) and enjoyed every minute of it.  I somehow made the cover of Keyboard Magazine and the rest is history.  Anyhow, I'm going to obtain my certificate pretty soon and I wanted to put the word out that I'm gonna be available to tune any piano professionally.

I take music quite seriously and love piano.  I love the sound, the acoustics, the look and feel of pianos.  They are fascinating pieces of instrumental art and I would be honored to be the person you choose to tune and service it.  Thanks all.

You're in Macon, Georgia, right?  Not too many Forum users here are in your neck of the woods -- but best of luck in this new endeavor!  From your MySpace page it's clear you can get things up and running.

all best,

CMG
Current repertoire:  "Come to Jesus" (in whole-notes)

Thank you so much for the vote of confidence!  I'm not tied down to one place and I have a very supportive family.  I can go wherever there is a piano to tune.  I'm sure Atlanta has plenty of pianos.  I'm just a few hours away from there.  I'm really just hoping to spread the word.  I will go where the work is.  If you need me, I may just move there. ;D
