If you don't like what I write, don't read it. Don't reply to me, don't type in my threads, don't respond to me in any way.

Simple as that.

My head was crushed, i suffered 100% 1st degree burns, my ribs were all broken and my entrails were later found 200 yards away under a bush.

Good job it was only your head, eh?

Personally I'm still waiting for a near-life experience.

Near death - well, I suppose every time I go out on my bike (which is about a dozen times a week) I'm technically pretty near death. The way I ride, it's usually only a couple of inches between getting there and getting totalled by an oncoming bus. I've been electrocuted plenty of times, driven at once by a runaway truck, that sort of thing, but no, not a near-death experience in the strict sense. Amazing though, if you stop to think about it, that we ever survive beyond our first few weeks. As 'Asleep at the Wheel' sang, 'No matter how I struggle and strive, I'll never get out of this world alive'.

I am not trying to irritate anyone and it matters not to me how many threads are deleted.

Your recent posts are of no value, so you might want to consider forgetting whatever strange problem you have with mine.

Wow I didn't know that the attention seekers where this notorious. If you notice in the RULES of pianostreet you shouldn't post in a thread if you are not keeping to its topic. https://www.pianostreet.com/forumrules.php
This topic is about near death experiences, not fiction story telling, or arguments. If you want to argue why not keep it in private messages? Although... I am sure a lot of people have almost died while they where drunk :) I'm sure those calling others drunks have also died in accidents.

Thal if you read carefully I did manage to tie it into the threads topic, so you are wrong and selectively reading ;) Are you admitting you are an attention seeker by responding to my suggestion that people don't hijack threads?

Sorry, i admit i rarely read all of your posts ;)

I do not attention seek, but since some people on here have commented that they like my humour, i thought i would try to cause some form of laughter by posting obvious ficticious stories. I was then accused of being drunk (which i was not) and it just carried on from there.

You are adding nothing of value by continuing this pointless exchange, so it might be for the best that we both shut up.

I didn't talk about adding value or any personal opinion here, that's your decision. But as a matter of respect for the entire community we shouldn't post useless spam on pages which has nothing to do with topic. That is not personal opinion, it is the rule of this forum.

Your humor is fine and welcome. Private messaging works well for arguments, not that you are the only one who doesn't do this.

2 weeks ago a guy just got killed on a motorcycle on the road just in my suburb, a good friend of mine witnessed it :( She is terribly shaken up from it, she attended the funeral and all. Poor girl :( She didn't know the guy, but she felt it was important to attend the event. She actually found that they they did know her as the lady who made their muffins (since she works at a bakery). They asked her questions about the incident, it was good therapy for her I think!

Threads rarely stay on topic. They never have done and never will do and if everyone who has ever done so were banned, we would not have many members left.

I am sure a lot of us are guilty of spam, myself included as well as you. Looketh not for the speck in your brothers eye when there is a log in your own.

Shall we return to near death experiences?

Well she witnessed it and was very close to it, so she could have been caught up in the mess as well (given that she was a pedestrian).

Have you all heard of those Qantas plane incidents? Its like 5 in 1 years now. Scary. A few of them near my city Perth, so I'm afraid to fly now (even though its been an irrational fear for a long time!)

Yeah have heard of 3 of them I think. Pretty scary stuff, a friend freaked when her plane had to learn to fix a problem that could have resulted in yet another accident. I never liked planes or boats in the first but not game to take them now at all.

I had no conscious experience, but i was lying in the snow drugged up when some woman found me. A Doctor told me that just 15 minutes longer in the snow would have killed me.
Whatever, didn't impress me much. However i did stop drinking alcohol afterwards, partially because of that but mainly because i actually didn't like it  ;D I was 15 back then.

Good grief another airplane emergency near my hometown!  https://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/10/16/2392887.htm   and I have to fly soon! 3 incidences in the last month and a bit. mmmmmm Qantas, Qantas, Emirates. I'm flying Virgin.... should be ok right?

Also I have noticed in the last few months driving north up the Kwinana Freeway here in West Australia that there has been many big pieces of wood or metal, big chunks of truck tires all in the middle of the freeway! I've noticed them well in time to avoid them, but I have looked in my rear vision mirror and seen people drive right over them and lose a bit of control! I hate driving.

- I was heading on the Kwinana Freeway north to work last Thursday and noticed something very peculiar, the south freeway had zero cars on it. As I passed Berrigan Drive and headed up the hill towards Roe Hwy exit I noticed a large semi trailer on the freeway south side, a group of police and emergency vehicles. A pedestrian had been hit and killed by the truck. I am fortunate enough not to have seen it happen at least, but travelling home later on that day the entire road was covered with chalk, it was certainly very bad.

I remember when I was about 7 I was riding my bike home and a child came flying down a hill and was killed at the intersection by a car, decapitated. I still remember the police pouring sand on the blood and the white cloth over the body. The chalk outline of the two parts of the body remained on the road for months. I always feel so terrible for the family and those effected by tragic circumstances such as this. Last Thursday I just couldn't stop thinking about the family of the vicitms of the accident.

hmmmm...... near death experience? oh, I got one!
Once, back when I was three yrs. old, me and my family were at an outside swimming pool in Arizona. There was nobody actually swimming at the time, so when I was walking at the edge of the pool an incredibly obese lady accidentally bumped into me knocking me into the deep end (about 8 feet of water). I nearly drowned because I could not swim, but luckily my mom pulled me out of the water (the pool area was big, so it took her a while to get to me). For some reason, the fat lady didn't really notice until afterwards.
