Ballroom dance music?
on: September 19, 2008, 10:12:08 PM
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew any good piano music that could be danced to. I'm looking namely for a slow waltz and a Tango.
I believe most Strauss waltzes are of the Viennese sort, which is very different from slow waltz, and some others, such as Chopin, are not really dance-able.
For Tango something maybe minor would be nice
Any suggestions?

Thanks

How about looking at some Landlers? which is a slow German waltz
the Brahms waltzes are nice but i don't know if they are any good for dancing too
