What is a gilappi?

I would be an invisible entity of some sort...like a ghost. There would be no limits, you could go anywhere and no one would know unless you deliberately did something to draw attention.

Monsieur, if that were indeed the desired effect, I don't believe one could still call it "misinterpreted" since the mixed impressions of others would actually be exactly the intentions of Mr. Steak -- eh ?
