Bach toccata in German film?
on: October 20, 2008, 09:55:47 PM
I realize this is incredibly vague, but maybe someone can help me out... Is there a German film that includes in its soundtrack the e minor toccata of Bach (or if not, perhaps it is the f-sharp minor)? A friend was struggling to remember the name of this wonderful film.
Thanks for any help you can give!
Sincerely,
Michael

There is a French film "De battre mon coeur s'est arrêté" ("The Beat My Heart Skipped") that features the E minor toccata. Could he be thinking of that and just got the country mixed up?

Thank you, it is that - the reason she mixed it up is that the film first showed in Germany.
