Is your declared uncertainty here indicative of an inability on your part to answer the question. or an unwillingness to do so, or both?

Very probably, yet one cannot help but notice at the same time the apparently deliberate avoidance of answering the question...

Depends on which Schumann is under the question. Somehow I thought it is Klara.

Best, M

Dear Marik,

It was my understanding that Robert wanted to be in the asylum and that it was not a matter of Klara getting him out or not.  It's not her fault.

Pianistimo is like Schumann: grossly overrated.

Blasphemy, how is Schumann overrated?

She appears still to be a member here, for whatever reason or none, but has not been active for almost 9 years.

I assume that, like Karli, Wolfi, Bernhard, rachfan and many others, she simply became tired of posting on internet forums and perhaps communication in general. Internet acquaintances and friendships do not operate in quite the same way as real life interactions. It is possible to terminate correspondence with an abruptness and lack of explanation that would not occur off the internet. It has happened to me a couple of times and all I can do is accept the sudden desire for privacy. Being a person who tends to keep friends I found this transience difficult at first but it doesn't worry me so much now.

Then again, very possible she was "raptured."  Did anyone find a pile of clothes?

well said m1469.

She went back through all her posts and did that.  Think about how much time that took to do.

I think Nils disabled editing ancient posts after that.

Very possible she was taken away by men in white coats.

If she was, I wonder how it is that she remains a member here...

I have met her in 2007 in Pennsylvania. Those were crazy times back then. I have lost touch completely.
