i think the reason a lot of people like him is that he seems genuinely interested in resolving conflict.  i suppose that's a good thing.

You SUPPOSE that's a good thing.

I take it you would prefer war to wipe out all the non believers?

Just got back from voting for McCain. Not that it matters, considering that I'm in California and Obama is going to win (this state) anyways. Oh well. Palin 2012 anyone?

Thanks, but no thanks!

Indeed: Bracka Obama has become the 44th American President and the 1st non-caucasian one. That is now the end of the first part of my thread. Now I present a second question (not for pianistimo! :P): Do you think Bracka Obama will be a good president, or not? Why?

Is this a plea of the sympathy vote? I'm upset because everyone is "bashing" (god knows why you use that word ~ I have a different understanding of it) everyone else?

You can't change, no one can. It may be horrible, cruel and disrespectful to other members...but that's life. *SIGH*

G.W.K
:o Sympathy? What is that? I was just using bashing because it was used before in this forum so I figured if I used it it would be easier for everyone to understand but I think of the different meaning too. 'Picking on' may fit better.
I thought we had a truce? :P

It would be nice if the Rev. King would have seen this day.  And, yet - we must be careful to make sure that President Obama understands how many Americans do not wish to 'negotiate' with terrorists.  Many men have died so that we might be free.

The simple mention of it is enough to start people up. ;)

Hopefully Obama understands that a majority DOES want to negotiate to get peace.
The way you encourage people to support wars and trying to talk them right, tells me there's probably more satanic ideals than godly loving ideals inside you. You think that Jesus could have chosen you as his follower? Not likely since you support and encourage wars to innocent countries. Even more, you probably wouldnt even reconize Jesus if he was right in front of you since you're too much trapped in your own limited beliefs.

Well, I'm not one to go looking in a rear view mirror.  If you do that - you just end up tripping.  All I will say is that 'change' can be many things.  I don't want to see change to the laws of the US constitution which were based upon - (leave the word blank for GWK because religion is now outlawed?).  Do you realize we are all Israelite nations that have the (blank).  Our hospitals routinely - up to the last 10 years or so - circumcised babies.  Why?  For cleanliness only?  No.  Read Stephen's words in Acts 7 - he says that was a SIGN of who are the nations of israel. And, yes - they are NATIONS today. https://sbranyan.com/blog/?p=94

The Muslim community may also do this - but to a much lesser degree because the identifying sign of our blessings is that we are followers of the precepts in our justice system of the 10 commandments and expected the COVENANT promises.  No longer will that be the case.  With the 'change' that is coming we cannot expect blessings - but rather curses.

This is how it is said in Isaiah 24:2 '...the buyer like the seller, the lender like the borrower, the creditor like the debtor...the earth is also polluted by it's inhabitants for they transgressed LAWS, violated STATUTES, and broke the everlasting COVENANT.   This is why our nations have lost power - because we lost 'In God we Trust.'  Is.5:9 '...surely, many houses will become desolate, even great and fine ones without occupants.'

'For zions sake I will not keep quiet...'  Our power started with the one man Abraham, to Isaac, Jacob and the twelve TRIBES of Israel.  'the ox doesn't know it's master' - because we don't even know who the nations of 'ephraim and manassah' are today.  They are literal descendants of the man israel.  If this is untrue - prove it to me!  God promised abraham that his decendants would be like the grains of sand or stars in the sky - that they would be literal nations.

Now, read this and see if you can figure out who ephraim is: Is. 28 'woe to the proud CROWN of the drunkards of ephraim, and to the fading flower of its GLORIOUS BEAUTY, which is at the head of the fertile valley (valley of fatness - wealth!) of those who are overcome with wine!  BUT when the Lord Jesus christ returns - he actually returns to this CROWN (the throne of DAVID).  Is. 28:5 'in that day the Lord of Hosts will become a beautiful crown and a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people.'

The reason I say this is because our nation is changing to have less distinction of where we came from.   We came out of the 'crown' but are brothers - and those brothers existed long ago from the descendants of JACOB.  That is why we are Christian nations that hold to the bible - not the Koran.

I will support Obama up to the point where he starts changing the constitution.  When that happens I will gladly enter the court system and plead my case.

Harsh, but very straight to the point... I have to say I agree.

Perhaps the result of the elections indicate there are more Americans that do wish to negotiate.

You cannot beat terrorism by force alone, eventually you will need to bring them to the bargaining table. Many more men will needlessly die unless you do.

Again, you need to appreciate that to some people, Americans are as much terrorists as Al Queda.

America does not need any more trigger happy tambo bangers like you and Bush.

I dont think pianistimo can ever realise that America herself was much more a terrorist country than any of those silly countries they managed to ruin.

Yes. "Nations" are an ancient concept actually, as well as "races". Good for pulling the wool over the eyes. Good for manipulation. The reality is different.

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive. But according to recent research, a robotic exoskeleton hand could help pianists improve their speed of performing difficult pianistic patterns, by overcoming the well-known “ceiling effect”.
