Orchestral Realisation?
on: May 27, 2004, 07:43:22 PM
For my A level music I have to compose a peice on my chosen area of study. I was thinking of compairing Beethovens Emporers Concerto with one of Ravels and then compose a piano concerto mouvment. However befour I start I need to find out if there is any meens to get it realised by a realy Orchestra.
I'm based in south west England. Doesn any one know if theres any where i could say, send it off for a small fee and get it realised?

I'm not sure what you mean by realised, do you mean performed? If you do then I'm not sure what orchestras there are in South West England cos I live London, the only one I know is the Cornwall symphony orchestra.
I don't think I've been much help, have I!!!

it doesn't need to be a live performance but a recording must be obtainded which has been done by real musicians and not a computor. also it doesn't necisarely have to be somwhere near by providing i could send the music off and have it done.
