What are Scots rugby teams like? One's playing here this week and I was just wondering. Still reckon the Aussies will own them though :P

Scottish Rugby is poor at the moment. They have just been badly mauled by New Zealand.

English Rugby is not a great deal better. One feels the Southern Hemisphere teams creating another gap that had been temporarily narrowed.

That's basically it. The UK (all four countries of it) is well-known for being poor in sports. Hasn't anyone noticed (usally on the news) that if England win at something you hear: "And it's a great day for England, as this English winner brings back the award!"

But when it's Scotland (sometimes you notice it with Wales and N.I. but it usually is Scotland) you hear: "And it's a great day for Britain, as this British winner brings back the award!"

What is the fascination with Scotland recently? Several threads have mentioned Scotland at the beginning or during the threads...lol
