Many topics in this section of the forum contains a great number of posts (often very short comments) which are actually more suitable for the chat than the forum.
Could we try to keep the forum reserved for more substantial discussions/posts and use the chat for chatting?

True.  Some of these threads contain content which is posted over a large amount of time, rather than in one shot such one is more likely to do in chat.

However Nils, although you have locked some topics, you have not locked those that are similar. For example:

You locked "What If?" by Bob and "Who think it's time for another word...". However, "What If?" by Karli/m1469 is still active and so are other similar threads. Why have you targeted those ones and not the others?

The admin agreed HIMSELF that it was a good idea to lock your thread! You're simply digging yourself a deeper hole lucy. I personally think you're still here purely for entertainment value.

I do not know Nils personally, nor do I pretend that I do. I respect him because he has to suffer juvinile discussions like this. In fact, our replies to you...is basically giving you enough attention to continue.

True, but deleted threads don't actually go away. There are boards on this forum that only the moderators can see and use...deleted threads go there, in case of the need to use them later on.

I never heard that. I'm sorry to hear about your grandfathers. One of the few things I'll class as being Scottish, Welsh, English and (if you really count them because they have their own army) Northern Ireland is the British Forces.

There was not a choice. And you never know what you will do when faced with such a thing as war.

I had, untill a few years ago, a German Uncle who was in the German SS.
He was also a good man, but also had no choice.
