What's wrong with chords? ??? They're great, just hammer away in different rhythms!

Or just play arpeggio.  ::)

I think we actually need to know more about what you can do and what you want to do.  Unfortunately your question is too vague.  Can you ask anything more specific that you want to know?  What can you do already?  People here would like to help, we just don't know what you need.

What are your goals????

What style do you want to learn????

Basically i would say start learning scales and chords :)

Make it fun!!! Practice, and chords are only boring if made to be!!! Improvise a little melody from your scales with your chords. etc etc
