It's the last word. I just can't pronounce it. It took me a year to finish the Lord of the Rings books because I couldn't read 7/8ths of it due to the pronouncing!

But anyway...

I read big words much more frequently than I hear people saying them, so I get the pronounciation wrong in really embarrasing situations. I once said 'epitome' like epy-tome.

Having said that, I once heard my vice-principal say, 'I'm sorry if I get the pro-NOUN-ciation of your names wrong...'
