Allo,

Here is below the choice I have to make for my programm (LEVEL 3). I underline in bold my actual choice, but I would sincerely like your opinion. If I want I could pass the exam LEVEL 3 in mai 2009 with that programm. Therefore, I can practice only 1 to 1.5 hour a day because I work. So I don't know if it is realistic for me. What do you think ? Anyway, here are the choices below. I put in bold my choices for the moment, but I m looking for your comments to help doing the final choice :

1) Burgmüller The Tender Blossom - op 100 no 10 D Major - étude
ou
Burgmüller The Farewell - op 100 no 12 A Minor - étude
ou
***Burgmüller Gentle Complaint - op 100 no 16 G Minor - étude****
ou
Burgmüller The Gondolier's Song - op 100 no 22 A-flat Major - étude

2) Bach Minuet - BWV 116 G Major - baroque NOTE : I already know pretty well this one. I just need to work on it to make it better for the exam.

3) Beethoven Sonatina no 5 #1 G Major: au complet - sonate
ou
****Köhler Sonatina - op 300 G Major: au complet - sonate****Note BUT, it seems harder than the Beethoven Sonatina !

4) Mayer Minor Study - op 340 no 2 A - pièce1
ou
Schumann Melody - op 68 no 1 C Major - pièce1
ou
Schumann First Sorrow - op 68 no 16 E pièce Minor -1

5) I need to chose a recent piece... I have NO idea whcih one but he gave me these names below... Do you have any idea ?

Violet Archer
Béla Bartok
Rémi Bouchard
Benjamin Britten
Edna Mae Burnam
Claude Champagne
Stephen Chatman

Why don't you play any Bartok's microkosmos as a recent piece?
They're great!
