Question about improving finger dexterity
on: December 14, 2008, 10:25:35 PM
I want to improve my finger dexterity before attempting La Campanella. Are there any specific exercises or short pieces that would help improve my overall finger dexterity?

I'm currently practicing Hanon #46 and Chopin Etude Op. 10 No. 2 to improve my 4-5 fingers for the 4-5 trills. A friend has told me that playing Fantasie Impromptu may help. What do you think?

Any other exercises/short pieces you'd recommend? Thanks!
