Movie title help..
on: December 22, 2008, 08:10:21 PM
This may seem abit random, but ive been searching for this movie for weeks and its starting to drive me nuts. I'm down to asking this forum because it was a great piano movie and hopefully someone here has watched it. I saw it about a year ago on a movie channel and i was wondering if anyone knows the title. It was an international movie, either portuguese, spanish or italian..
It was about a young piano prodigy who composed a song but never got to play it through because someone always died when he played it. He eventually went insane and was locked away in some kind of asylum. He escapes and goes missing. Many years later a group of musicians go on a search for him after finding parts of the sheet music. After finding out that the song kills people, the movie ends with them trying to finish the song on a floating platform in the middle of the ocean where noone can get hurt.
If i remember correctly, the title was one word and it won some sort of award.. i cant remember what channel it was on, and it ran about two and a half hours.
Please!! Help me out?
