has anyone ever heard of the composer and pianist André Mathieu. Rachmaninoff pronounced him "a genius,more so than i am".

I've heard some of his music, notably the Concerto de Québec, which was one of the cheesiest piano concertos I've ever heard. It was worse than the Warsaw Concerto. it may be pleasing to listen to sometimes, but I wouldn't call him a genius or anything innovative.
