Just to see what the opinions of those of you out there are on Schoenbergs 6 Little Piano Pieces. I have found that some people love and some hate them? What's your opinion and why?

beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I personally am not a fan of Schoenbergs  piano music (except the piano concerto) I do enjoy his orchestral and chamber music though I think for piano music Berg or Webern is better

I think a lot of Schoenberg's music is exceedingly beautiful, the little piano pieces has beautiful moments. Still, Erwartung is probably my favourite Schoenberg piece, and one of my favourite pieces of all time.
