"Bells, Bells, Bells" Improv

I'd like to share my new piece, it's quoting some phrases from "Carol of the Bells"....
it's fast and anxious to reflect the times we live in...I hope you'll like it

I know it's not what you posted, but I just listened to "Variation on Clouds Theme." I like that spontaneous entrance into Brahms op. 117 no. 1...and then it cut off.

"...To the tintinnabulation that so musically wells
From the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells -
From the jingling and the tinkling of the bells."

Hi Iwo,

Welcome to the Improv community.  I haven't posted an improv yet myself, but will eventually.  I enjoyed your playing a lot.  Very nice.

That's cute I didn't really find it anxious.

I've heard some Nyman sounding like parts in it.  It didn't feel as anxious to me, more like a briskly flowing river.

I appreciate all your comments. I was playing it originally much slower and mellower, but decided to speed it up to make it run...anxiously running in the anticipation of unknown. It's interesting to see some other views though.
"Clouds.." are just part of a bigger piece, but I'm glad you found it interesting.
I was a mellow dreamer in that one. This is an improv as well or as I call it a "music
in my head" lol
The only thing I don't get is the Brahms reference...please elaborate on that one.

Hey Iwo,

Now I'm extremely confused, because I just listened to "Variations on Clouds Theme" again and heard nothing of what I described. No Brahms. I don't know what I heard last night, if something started afterward and I thought it was the same or what. (?)

Anyway, I'm sorry for the embarrassing mix up! It was not your piece that I was describing. (I hope the 16 people who got the Brahms enjoyed it )

No Problem.  Must be a case of "Brahms on the Brain" ... I occasionally suffer from the Chopin equivalent.
