if it was the dust bowl he would open up a way for water to come in and make a barrier to shield of the dust storms maybe. To solve the economic crises he would vote for Obama  8)

I don´t think raw strength is helpful against something as abstract and complex as economy and politics. But I suppose he could become something of a Robin Hood and rob the 6000 richest people and divide their assessments among the 2 billions of the poorest. Maybe he could fetch us some more fossil fuel from distant galaxies as well.

In Britain I think Superman could intimidate the Banks to make them lend money to people again but the banks are reluctant to lend money because of the Billions of punds the government gave them they want it paid back in 2 years (duh)

I don't think lucylucy has any investments or is looking for a loan.  If it's fake, all my numbers are still way lower than they were.

Seems like she's not interested in finding a job either. People's jobs are being cut everywhere in australia, it's all over the papers. Some huge busineses have collapsed and the mines are having trouble too, something like 1600 Queensland mining jobs have been cut in the last month.

An arch?
Reminds me of this ADHD kid who used to play tennis at the same place as me. Every once in a while he would go nuts, pick up the nearest object he could lift (sometimes ones he couldn't lift) and try to hit people with it.

On a more practical, "functional" side... What would Superman do when he has to go to the bathroom?  The guy's wearing tights.  Super, impenetrable tights.  Apparently a one-piece body suit.  I think Superman might need some super planning-ahead ability in case he got a super-powerful biological need.  (Bob imagines Superman flying along in the middle of nowhere when a twinge of gurgling awareness hits.... Talk about blue ice... Not to mention how ignoble that would be... Bob thinks Superman probably goes under the ocean in cases like this... Bob has time to sit and ponder important concerns such as this).

Or... Wouldn't you think Superman would be spending a lot of time in third world countries?  He could be delivery water to a dying person or digging a canal for water for a village, but he's saving a kitten in a tree in a wealthy country.  And there's so much crime and projects he could working on, you'd think he would never stop, let alone have time to be a reporter too.  (Bobs starts wondering why Superman is so western culture obsessed.)

An important topic.  241 views.

And why is he working as a reporter?  What's the point?  He travels all that distance, gets super powers, and then decides to become a nerdish reporter?  What would a newspaper know?  They're reporting on events that just happened or things that are set.  Why not ask the government or have some crack team of criminal investigators giving him advice... which drug cartel to break up or, for that matter, why not go blow away crops of drugs and solve some problems that way?

And wouldn't he ever accidentally run into something?  If he's got human-like attention, wouldn't there a moment when he's zipping along and daydreams for a second and.. BAM!  He flies into a goose.  Or an airplane.  Or if he's flying along close to the ground, he'd have to get splattered up with bugs.

His tailor or clothing store must be making a fortune.  "Why Mr. Kent!  You've ripped another shirt?  And you need a new suit?  Again?!"  All the bums in Metropolis would be well-dressed.
