Okay, I apologize, but ideally I would have an answer in an hour from post time

. I have found a transpose button on Sibelius, where, when pressed, will flip the score back and forth between a transposed score (for whatever instrumentation) and a "C Score" (kind of).
My question is : Can you create ANY kind of C score, and what I am wanting is to be able to create an SATB choral C score, and have that transpose by the click of that button (or A button) to ANY desired transposed score ?
So, I would like to enter musical notation -- as seen from a choral score-- into an SATB C score, and click a button and have it transpose to a saxophone quartet. Is that possible ?
So far, it seems like a person has to already know how to transpose in order to use this feature, and that makes me feel like I am missing something (I DO know how to transpose, but that is not the point). The only "C score" the program seems to let me use is one with all treble clefs, since saxophones read treble clefs. So, in that case, you have to already understand that you can't enter a choral work in as seen, but you have to understand how the instruments sound. Isn't the point of a transpose button like that mainly for people who don't know how to transpose and need to enter music in as seen, and then transpose it to whatever arrangement they need ?
Okay, any help is VERY appreciated !! I will keep hunting in the meantime, too. Thanks !!
