The Weber followed by the Halka.

I've not heard all of them (they are of course only performed rarely), but for me it would be Halka followed by the Weber. ;)

We're fortunate on this forum to have access to a fine recording of the Weber - though I prefer Halka as a piece, I'm of the opinion marik's Weber is a better performance than Michael Ponti's Halka.

I think that most of them have now been recorded and rightly so, but many could do with fresh interpretations.

The Strauss transcriptions recorded by Dennis Hennig are a bit too mechanical for my taste and the recently recorded Beethoven by Petronel Malan is reasonably devoid of interest.

What ever happened to romantic pianism??

The recording posted by Marik was bleedin incredible.

Blimey, didn't even know some of those existed. I'll look a few more up and try them through before I vote.....
