February 17th and March 17th improvisations

Hi everyone, I know it's been a while but I haven't quit playing or anything...I kind of reached a point where I felt I was "overdoing" my improv hobby, particularly listening to my own recordings. Well, I think I've reached some more balance in my life and I hope it will continue. Here are a couple I made recently...enjoy. I want to get back on here some evening soon and listen to some of the new pieces by others here.

Good grief Derek, 3:00 to 5:00 in March 17th is excellent ! Perhaps you should try taking longer breaks from music !

Hi Derek, cool, welcome back! I had just started to complain that you are gone lol. I'm listening to the first improv, good stuff

I like especially this augmented triad thing that starts at 5.48, so cool, and kinda dark.

Great to see you back, Derek. I listened to both improvs, and enjoyed them both, especially the March 17th. I enjoy your "suite style" of improvising which I think is individuating. Thanks for sharing your music.

very powerful but simple beginning of the first one and really nice to listen to. Great job on both
