Love

We see the symbols of the 60's all around.  Smiley faces, peace signs, yes - the legalization of 'soft' drugs (no longer called gateway), and more and more gender switching and sexual freedoms.  Is this beautiful?  Is this peaceful.  Will it lead to a better life?  What happened in the 70's?  A bunch of haggard looking people came back not just from Vietnam (btw, i'm not judging the vets) - but from Haight-Ashbury needing help from their parents when they could have been responsible and at least gotten a job or gone to a few classes in college.  As it was - many became drug dependent and needed to live at home for another 10 years.  What child wants drug addicted parents?  What child deserves to die for no reason other than being conceived.  What sexual promiscuity is really wanted by teen girls - and shouldn't the law be for the young women to protect them from crimes of rape?  The knowledge of pregnancy and responsibility of fatherhood used to do that.  Hide the evidence now and everything is ok.

Well, it's not!  Let's start with the two million red envelopes that went to the White House the other day.  I think that expresses love because on the outside of the envelopes it said 'this envelope represents one child who died in abortion.  It is empty because that life was unable to offer anything to the world.  Responsibility begins with conception.'

The white house response:
Otto said he expected no response from the White House.

"On Thursday their goal is to remove the conscience clause on physicians," he said. "So, they don't want any press."

However, WND was successful in confirming that the red envelopes did arrive.

Asked if he hopes President Obama will be influenced by the campaign Otto said, "I really hope that he is seeing them. I know that somebody in Washington is seeing them, for whatever that's worth. I do hope that it changes the president's heart."

He continued, "I also know that there are many people in our government – in both political parties – who believe that life and freedom are controlled by the state. They want to control who lives and who dies. So, it's not just the president, but there are lots of people in Washington who need to know that this was an important thing and that they are out of step with the people."

The Red Envelope Project has been provided with letters to cease and desist because it allegedly infringes upon trademark and copyright of another organization, but Otto said the campaign will comply with copyright issues and continue its work once the legal matters have been resolved. Details of the new campaign have not been released.

PS Otto is the mailman.

Love is never a bad thing. Love itself is neutral, and the effects depend on the person. You are going from one topic to another unrelated topic. Love has nothing to do with abortion; at least I've never heard of a loving person participating in it. You think the government can help that? You think they can just decide to bomb the country with love gas? I don't see how anyone, even the president, even the king of the world, can help otherwise. A law? Does that help anything? Did that prevent Adam and Eve from eating the forbidden fruit? See, even G-d's law can't change people's hearts.

As a Christian you do not say one persons sin is greater than your own. So take the speck out of our own eye before we try to take it out of our brothers and sisters. And we will never remove that speck from our eye, so just don't bother commenting on what other people do in disapproval. The devil delights in confusing the Christian who gets wrapped up over other peoples sins. Judge not unless you want to be judged.

Is there any chance that pianistimo could switch channels long enough to avoid Fox News for a few hours?

Maybe try PBS?  The BBC?

Just anything that is not the unofficial mouthpiece of the American Nazi Party?

For all of us here, that would be an act of "love."
