Help - Does anyone know this piano piece?
on: April 15, 2009, 09:21:14 PM
Hi everyone, maybe you experts can help me out here.
I've been searching for the title/composer of this piece.

Neither the comments (on youtube) or the uploader of the clip could give me the answer. I have also asked on other forums without any result.

I would be so grateful for the name of this great piece.

Thanks a lot in advance.

I believe it is a fairly poorly played version of a piece from the movie "The Hours" - scored by Philip Glass.  Not sure which one it is, but he wrote the music for that movie, so just google it.

Yeah - I just double checked - it is.  If you go to amazon - look up the soundtrack for "The Hours" and it's track 12 titled "Escape"

Hold on uppy a second!!!!!!!!!!  :o

The piece you gave the link to is NOT trak 12 Escape on The Hours soundtrack, it is Glass's Metamorphosis 2 from his set of 5, the first few bars of it in fact.

All his stuff sounds the same to me anyway.  I liked The Hours a lot, but not a big fan of Glass.
