Well, Karli, Wolfi, and I had a wonderful Rainbow trout meal with wild onions and mushrooms with the wild berry Chutney sauce.  Mmmmmmmm. :)

After dinner we conversed and sang improvisational folk songs around the campfire.  I remember the last stanza of a song Wolfi sang:

The forest calls beyond the rush
Of life's wayward wind,
Release your cares, and rest this night
That tomorrow come anew, with light.

Might fit to my "forest evening" :) But how do I get the piano into the forest?

Well, yes.  I actually live here *with a smile, slowly whooshes arm towards the entire Valley* ... I mean, I really live here.

I have three pianos planted in very hidden places.  One is in a room at the bottom of the lake...

It was fun, thanks to all three of you (even Bob) for coming over :).

Oh, okay.  Maybe I will somehow get your Sherpas to do a skit while they are standing guard of your igloo.

(Bob looks out of igloo)  What?  No no no, Sherpas.  No skits!  Bad Sherpas.   All right, gather 'round Sherpas.  I have a job for you all.  Ok.  Ready?  Ok.  All right, Sherpas... Find gold!  That's your new job.  You need to find some gold so I can pay you and pay everyone for all this stuff.  Go on now.  And um... try to hurry up, will you?

"Tonight's steak eeest almost r-r-r-r-ready," says someone from inside an igloo.
"That's fine André," says Bob, walking out the door.
"Oi, Monsieur.  Very good, sir," says the French gourmet chef.
*Bob quickly closes the door and looks around in case anyone saw that.

*Bob clears his throat and speaks, stiltedly* "Oh boy!  Hot dogs again!  My favorite!"

Hmmm.  What's this?  *Bob notices that the leek plants all seem to have died overnight for some reason.*  What's that stench?  It's like someone poured ammonia over the leeks.  The leeks which just happen to growing out in the forest in the middle of nowhere, but conveniently by a camping site.  ::)

Whoa.   Freaky.  (Bob is actually eating mushrooms right now.  Baby Bella.)  Whoa.

Pianowolfi said the thread might get even stranger.

"I believe those trees are looking at me.  And I thought I saw one move," says Bob.
"Sir, those are store bought mushrooms.  They have no hallucinogenic effects," says one of the Sherpas.
"Oh," says Bob.  "Who said that?" asks Bob, looking around, somehow getting a buzz from Baby Bella mushrooms purchased from the store.

*sees the perfect opportunities to pull pranks on Bob*

Hey, Sherpas ... pssst !  com'ere ... *whispers in Sherpas ears*

Go get some handfuls of dirt, put them in a pan, and go tell Bob you found a bunch of gold.  Then, tell him to look at what you found, and *believe* me, he will think the dirt is gold.  Tell him that if he isn't sure, to bite it in order to test it out (I've seen them do that in movies, don't worry, that's a real thing, Sherpas).

This is weird.  I am out of maple syrup.  (Bob chews thoughtfully on his gourmet steak, thinking it kind of tastes... like dirt?  But it's gourmet steak, so maybe it's supposed to taste like dirt.)

I confess that I'd never contemplated what a conflated transcription of La Cathédrale Engloutie and Au lac du Wallenstadt might sound like, except that the pianistic equivalent of backpackers' paradise probably isn't it...

*Bob stands on a mountain top, overlooking a crystal clear glass lake, mist hangs over the water, all is quiet and calm.

*Bob unleashes a massive guttural belch (dark tone, rich round tone, quality timbre, a 10 on a scale of 10 for those who rate belches).

*Bob listens to the echoes and observes a startled flock of long-legged birds now flying away.

Good job squirrels. :D

(Bob feeds his trained squirrels and eats candy.)

(Bob becomes bloated with enlightenment.)  :-X

(Bob comtemplates the morality of having trained squirrels stealing.  Who is truly at fault?  The squirrels who actually did the stealing?  Or Bob, who instructed the squirrels and gave the order?  Bob continues to contemplate these ethics, not actually doing anything about the situation, just thinking about it.)  :P

(Bob thinks about returning the candy, but only continues thinking.  After all, it's the thought that counts.) ;D 8)
