Sheet question

I have a sheet like this



Can anyone explain what this means:
*Adigo = 70
*The C looking thing
*The black bar
*The p looking thing in the middle

*Adigo=70 :   the tempo of the piece which is slow, the 70 is the metronomic mark so that there is a leeway for the performer. 
*The C looking thing: is the time signature and it a symbol used in place of the regular time signature which is used for 4/4 time.
* The black bar:  are rest signs, in the treble clef is the half rest, the bass clef is the whole rest.
* p :  it's a dynamic marking which means "piano" for playing soft

By the way, don't you have a piano teacher to help you?

Thanks, no i dont have a teacher, and i dont know anyone who knows anything about piano.

One more thing, what does this symbol mean?

The top one is an 8th rest, the one below it, is a 16th rest.  Good luck in learning to play piano.   best,  go12_3
