Hi all,

I just came across this on youtube and wanted to share this with you guys. I think it's interesting to hear what he has to tell. It's an interview with Krystian Zimerman and consists of 5 parts. Enjoy  :)

I'm reviving this slightly outdated topic for two reasons.  First, I just listened to the whole thing and found it absolutely fascinating.  Second, I would like to perhaps begin a discussion on one particular point he mentions.  Zimerman says that he enters performances with three or more fingerings prepared for each piece so he can adjust based on the piano.  I think this is incredible!  I've never bothered to work out more than two, and even then only for particularly difficult passages.  I'm interested to know what others think about this.
