hm i found a problem in my practice is leaving out legato things(articulations) when practising slow, it makes speeding up painful and also a waste of time. things like dynamics could be left out for a while.

my personal experience

The left hand should have a combination of both slow and quick practice. However, the quick practice should, in my opinion, concentrate on individulual left hand passages or difficulties. Basically the slow practice gives your playing depth of sound and the fast practice (for perhaps a couple of bars at a time) promotes explosive power.

Good luck. This C minor study is a great work.
