Thanks, Bob, for the tip on this program; it will be well worth watching.  Cool.
I think some people have that innate musical ability since a little child.  And it gets
developed somehow through singing, dancing, playing piano or whatever it takes to make
music from the soul.  It will be interesting to get some feedback from members, after this program, don't you think, Bob?

best wishes,

It's ok.  Not quite what I thought.  I've only seen half of it so far though.

It's about musical savants.  A jazz piano savant and teurettes guy drummer savant.  Not really anything new.

Somewhat interesting.  It's just a series of case studies, or glimpses at them.  A couple savants, the scientist running the show studying himself, and a doctor who got zapped by lightning and felt compelled to play classical piano music.

And the scientist guy running the show was a little on the gushy side about how great music is.  All positive-speak.

It was ok.  Somewhat interesting.  Not something to feel bad about missing though.

I liked it.

Bob, did you get reception problems with the sound early on in the program?

Nope.  Everything was fine.

I like the Auto-Tune feature in the science show after that.

yeah, I watched the program.  The blind guy, Derek, can play a tune after hearing it once and did some improvisation.  It's amazing how the power of music can help people out though.  Music will always have a postive affect upon people no matter what age and circumstances.

best wishes,
