That was... interesting. 80s music videos are always more amusing. Unfortunately I must have missed that video when it came originally.
Haha. I not sure I understand what they meant originally. This newer version probably makes as much sense.
Good for a laugh. Now *and* then.

I find the music of the 1980s to be quite effervescent, but with an air of translucence. I feel it reflected the "me" era and the global corporate greed of the time, the zeitgeist, if you will, particularly in the year 1983. Pop music of the time, albeit the music video genre was particularly adolescent at the time, was shallowness clad in an intrinsic yearning of the time, a yearning for something new, to push the edge while at the same time remaining subversive to authority at the time.
Now if you'll excuse me I have some videos to return. (which is actually true) Remind me to show you my new business cards.

I have 80s music in my head now.
I still don't quite understand what the original point of that video was up there. The real video -- What were they thinking?

Nik Kershaws videos has really weird symbolism touch. I love the kids playing synth in the second one.

Warning: Contains swearing, but the overall message and truth is probably scarier.
