chopin,brahms ...or something else?

Please,I need help!!
I'm practising for my next year concert,and I play:
Bach(g sharp minor 1st book,
Haydn A flat major sonata,
Debussy etude for eight fingers,
...
and I need a Romantic piece!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my teacher was thinking aboyt Chopin,ballade F major,and I don't wanna work Chopin...
what do you sugest me??
Shuman?Rachmaninoff...give me some advice..

just do chopin deux nocturnes op. 48

and get rid of debussy and replace it with prokofiev 8th sonata

1 year is enough time to make it passable i reckon

Shuman is not a romantic composer - not sure if he even is a composer!
Schumann on the other hand might afford you some very wise options!

Rachmaninoff is great but already post-romantic and it wouldn't really suit in.
If you don't necessarily need romantic piece, try listening to some Ravel (mirrors, valses nobles...) he has some very beautiful pieces ! (Ravel is deluxe edition of Debussy )

A look at Medtner's 'Three Hymns In Praise Of Toil' Op.49  might help you. They don't have to be played as the set of three. The second one, 'At The Anvil', is particularly good in my opinion. Talking about repeats-you could if  you had time learn Sigfrid Karg-Elert's transcription of Elgar's First Symphony. A lot of dumb and ignorant critics have made fatuous remarks about it-but it is a great piece of work-and you could leave the repeats out in that!
