First recording- Final Fantasy
on: September 25, 2009, 06:24:40 PM
Just looking to get some feedback on this.  I don't have a real piano at the moment so recorded this using my Korg TR88 keyboard. Any comments, insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I recorded this from start to finish and did no edit it, so it's basically a live recording. Believe it or not, this is actually a piano piece from a video game. If you're interested, this is from the Final Fantasy 10 piano collection.  Thanks!!

hi! :) i think people on this forum comment mostly on classical piano pieces.... well i really don't know much about playing piano, because i only just started learning and i'm just a kid so i dont know much about anything :) but i think this is really nice! I like listening to this kind of music while imagining all sorts of thigs in my head as if it would be a movie :) so i like this a lot :) cause it makes me feel like i would be in a movie  ;D

Sounds good.  Reminds me a little of George Winston.

Do you have the rest of the info for this piece?  Composer?  What music are you using?

The only thing I'm noticing now are the bass note, near the end I think.  Kind of a thump, but not much decay.  Maybe it's supposed to be that way, but the silence afterward or the attack on those notes makes them stand out a little.   It's just before 2:55.
