3 compositions, feedback is appreciated!
on: September 27, 2009, 10:55:21 PM
Hey,
My friend and I are currently working on music that helps to put you to sleep. These compositions have binaural beats in the background and they help in falling asleep, well actually only "shadows over clouds" has the waves, the other two are under construction. hehe, Any feedback on these samples would be great!
Thanks
1- Prelude
2- Dance on water
3- Shadows Over Clouds

I listened to 'Dance on water'..... And as a lover of quality classical music i'd get way too annoyed by this cheap music to fall asleep.

But ofcourse since this music is supposed to be for the 'vegetarian public', yoga lovers and greenpeace financers, it would probably suit them well. Bravo. But as you probably noticed its not my style ;)

I apologize for probably not being up to date but would you mind explaining a bit more about "binaural beats"?

While listening to ShadowsOverClouds I actually noticed a calming effect.

hi! i just really wanted to ask: why do you say cheap music? why is it cheap? beacause it's more simple than classical music? or something? well im just a stupid kid so i dont understand that :) because i like all sorts of music, i like classical music a lot, but sometimes i really like other music too...
i think this music really is very calming so i like it! :)

Because the chords are very simplistic, non original and without 'musical line'. But thats ofcourse great for some people to fall asleep at since its so boring. But i cant really listen to music without having feelings with it, probably since its my job. And my feelings are way too negative about this type of music to get into any relaxed state of mind.

thanks for explaining :) i think i kinda understand what you mean... this kind of music is more like for background or something... to fall asleep to or to do something else while listening to it... and classical music is more for thinking about it and for listening to it many times because there's always something new that you can find in it.... and more simple music is just for fun and for background :) well thats the way i think about it..... so thats why i like listening to both... but if its your job than i guess its different..... thanks :)
