Burgmuller op 100 - 3 (Pastoral)
on: September 29, 2009, 08:43:06 PM
I've started some self-taught piano training, mainly with Burgmuller op100.
So far, enjoying it (I play some classical guitar, know basic theory, had touched some cheap keyboards years ago; I've just bought a casio Privia px120).

I have a doubt regarding study 3, (Pastoral in G). I had started its study with some pdf sheet, but yesterday I bought a real (old) book. And besides some fingering differences, I noticed this one indicates pedal use, for joining the LH chords. I guess both ways, with or without pedal, are acceptable, (though I wonder how the pedalling for the full last ascending scale is compatible with the stacatto) but I'd like to know which is the most usual/advisable/standard way for this piece.
