Piano repetoire request
on: December 07, 2009, 04:07:46 PM
Hi people,
I was wondering what would be the best classics for me to learn. I am teaching myself, so sometimes it gets tough. I have started many different pieces, but most of them I can't seem to finish, mostly because they are too difficult. Can you suggest pieces I can do?
So far I can play
- moonlight sonata 1st mvmnt
- sonata pathetique 2nd mvmnt
- fur elise
- raindrop prelude
pieces I'm working on/ haven't finished/can't seem to finish
should I be doing these??
- appassionata sonata 1st mvmnt - debussy's clair de lune
- moonlight sonata 2nd mvmnt - debussy's girl with flaxen hair
- tempest sonata 3rd mvmnt - Mozart's fantasia in D minor
- Mozart's turkish march
