I am sure there are places where you can donate some $$$, just google and see what you can do.  The  church I belong to  already does offer aid to countries that experiences disasters.
So figure out what you can do, okay?  And pray for those poor people that are having a such a hard time in Haiti.  They need all the help that they can get!

At the risk of stating the painfully obvious, only the first of those activities is likely to provide updated information on what is going on in a country that has surely already had vastly more than its fair share (if indeed be such a thing) of suffering in other ways ovver the past few decades.
