DMA Recital Jan 24th 2010
on: January 23, 2010, 06:36:00 AM
Not sure if there are members in the area that can make it but I thought I'd let you all know I'm giving a doctoral piano recital this Sunday (in 2 days)...

Sunday,  January 24, 2010, at 7:30pm at Katzin Concert Hall, ASU School of Music, Tempe, AZ.

Program:
Brahms 7 Fantasies Op. 116
Mendelssohn Fantasy in F-sharp minor Op. 28
~Intermission~
Haydn Sonata in B minor Hob. 16/32
Scriabin Sonata No. 3 in F-sharp minor Op. 23

I will be playing the beautiful Bosendorfer Imperial 290 for this recital.

Admission is free, as well as parking since it's Sunday ;).

It will be recorded so soon afterward I should be able to post some bits on here as well.  ;D

Hi Josh,

Congratulations on presenting your DMA recital!  I hope it all went well for you.  If it was recorded, perhaps you could post some it for us?

Interpreting music means exploring the promise of the potential of possibilities.

Good to hear from you, Josh.  We miss you around here.  I'll be looking for recordings from your recital in the audition room. :)
