Yamaha U1 silent - Serial Number

Good morning,

I am a new (old) piano student, a soon to be piano owner and expat in Brazil. I finally made it and ordered a new piano (Yamaha U1 silent) which should be delivered to us some time this year... we hope!

My question: I had to male a special order in Danemark to get it and I would like to check how new the piano I paid for really is. I obtained its Serial Number which is (21)6270216.

As I am in the unconventional situation of directly importing a Yamaha Piano from Denmark to Brazil, it has been impossible so far, with either representation, to verify the production year of this piano. Not that I don't trust the dealer but I'd like to check.

Has anyone an idea how I could do this in the next days... the piano should leave Europe at the end of February 2010. Knowing this could help me a lot!

That piano is too new to feature on the Yamaha website, but anyway there's an age checker at
