digital vs acoustic

hi all, i've just started learning to play piano and wanted to know the pros and cons of a digital vs acoustic piano (apart from the obvious volume control point!) would appreciate insights.

The weight of the keys, while a real piano has the real necessary weight for the hammers to hit the strings a digital has a simulation of this weight.
In my opinion this weight simulation is not as good as the real thing but it wont ruin your technique like a keyboard will.
