Notes need help.
on: April 18, 2010, 05:42:31 PM
Hello.
I'm playing piano for 2 months (Amateur) and I find problem with two types of notes.

The notes circled with red color how do you exactly play them? At the same time or seperately(Spelling?)?

The same question for the notes marked with green color.

Notes that are aligned vertically are played at the same time.

There are notes of various durations within the red circle, though, so notes played at the same time might be released at different times depending on their respective values.

The D, E and G in the green circle are played at the same time.  The reason the noteheads of the D and E are placed on different sides of the stem because they would overlap otherwise.
What passes you ain't for you.

So if I get it right you play them both at the same time.
So how do you play D&E to make them not overslap eachother (sorry for my poor english xD)

D and E are played at the same time. D is a little left than E only because we cant put them in the same vertical alignement, there is no space to both of them, isnt it?
Good luck to you.

By the way, its very possible that two melodic lines may be expressed in right hand. But I`m not quite sure.
