Sure, but after they're proven. Someone else can be the guinea pig.
Dear Bob,
I understand your concern. Please allow me to assure you that I have been using Piano Skills with all my beginner students for almost a year now to great effect. This is mainly due to the fact that Piano Skills was written over a course of three years alongside my very helpful students who provided a wealth of feedback and criticism for me to draw and reflect upon. Furthermore, as already mentioned above, Music Teacher Magazine have very graciously reviewed Piano Skills, giving a “very big ‘thumbs up’!”
More about Music Teacher Magazine, written by a mixture of practitioners at the forefront of teaching, can be found here
https://www.rhinegold.co.uk/magazines/music_teacher/default.asp I believe that it would be wrong for anyone to impose a linear teaching ‘method’ as it were, which is one of the reasons why I thought it best to write a more flexible ‘resource’. There are already hundreds of people using Piano Skills, and customer testimonials will be publicly available soon.
I hope this alleviates your concerns and allows you to enjoy the series.
My kindest regards,
Stephen Gearry
