Yiyi, it's a joy to hear you play the Schumann Arabesque...very warmly rendered with great romantic strivings and leanings, beautiful, thoughtful phrasing and plenty of contrasts. There are moments of astonishing beauty - the last section, is oh my :o...so inspired. I only wish the recording gave a fuller picture of what I know you were doing with the dynamics in these great contrasts. 'Tis always good to hear you play! :)

thank you for the feedback, furt. someone commented on my gracenotes being too fast, so i may do another recording of this piece.
regarding microphone, do you have a suggestion as to what I should get? I have a JVC digital camcorder with a built in mic, which obviously is not giving the most ideal sound.

i really didnt feel a contrast between part A and B... i liked part A way much (besides your piano helps a lot!! sounds really good!)
anyway, it's a nice playing.

Rachmaninoff Op. 16 No. 4 and 5

i agree the schumann concerto is not the best ever written, but it is still better than grieg's!
