Anyone familiar with Gliere preludes op.30?
on: April 24, 2010, 12:09:00 AM
I was just wandering through some old scores and came across R. Gleire's 25 Preludes, Op.30. All I really know of Gleire is the Horn Concerto and the epic Symphony #3 "Ilya Murometz". The preludes look interesting and somewhat more harmonically and rhythmically advanced than I might have expected, but truth be told I forgot that he lived until 1956. So I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with these works.
