French Piano Competition-HELP!
on: April 29, 2010, 10:14:04 AM
Hi everyone!
Could anybody send me Mendelssohn's Venetian Boat Song n°1 (op 19 n°6)?
I really need it for my piano competition in France (Concours International d'Ile de France) that is in the middle to the beggining of May.
I am also in a dilemna because I don't know if I should play Dvorak's Humoresque (op 101 n °7), Bach's Sinfonia n°15, or this Mendelssohn that I need.  Any opinions?
Thanks!
Jessica

In the middle of This may?

Uhm... Go for the pieces you know, and don't try to learn anything new...

Just got the dates its more end of may.  I learn pieces quite fast and you have to choose the pieces from a form.  Is the Mendelssohn very hard?

Dunno... And I don't know what's difficult for you... But go with the mendelssohn, Bach is difficult as hell to play well, and Dvorak is kind of special..

The Mendelssohn and Bach pieces are in the Forum Library, so they can't be posted.

Of the three pieces, I think the Mendelssohn would be the one to play.
