Kawai K2
on: May 02, 2010, 06:34:55 PM
I was looking at swapping my digital for a top of the range latest model. The new pricing for a top digital is getting £3000 so I went to a proper piano shop and tried out a new Kawai K2 upright and to my surprise it costs just a bit more than a digital at £3600

This Kawai uses the millennium 111 upright action and the sound i thought was more expressive than the best digital that I have tried.
If I do go for this piano I would have a Anytime X system fitted to it so I can have silent practice using headphones at night time.

Has anybody else tried out this piano and what do you think compared to other makes of uprights pricing up to say £4000?
